As we head into a new season, it’s a good time to reset our focus and build on what already makes this team strong.

At Hoffman, SAFETY has always been part of how we work. It shows up in how crews look out for each other, in conversations before a task begins, and in the decisions made throughout the day. That commitment is what keeps our jobs moving forward and our people protected.

The work ahead will be busy. Schedules tighten, conditions change, and there’s always pressure to keep things moving. That’s where it matters most. Doing the job right means doing it safely, every time.

Take the time to plan the work. Use the necessary tools and equipment. Stay aware of your surroundings and the people working around you. If something doesn’t look right, speak up and address it. Those small decisions, made consistently, are what prevent injuries and keep everyone on track.

We all play a role in this. Looking out for one another, communicating clearly, and taking pride in doing things the right way are what define a strong crew.

Hoffman Drives Cranberry Interchange Progress

Hoffman Construction is playing a key role in the accelerated delivery of the Cranberry Interchange project at the I-90 and I-94 split.

Brought on early in the design process, Hoffman worked alongside SPS, a contractor partner, and engineering partners SRF Consulting, AECOM American Engineering & Testing to refine the approach and fast-track construction.

Through this Design-Build collaboration, the team reduced the project schedule by roughly 300 days
while improving safety, limiting traffic disruption, and preserving surrounding wetlands.

The project is being recognized as a strong example of how early contractor involvement and coordinated planning can drive efficiency without sacrificing quality, positioning Hoffman at the forefront of this delivery method in Wisconsin.

Work Zone Safety Week

April 20-24, 2026

Hoffman Construction joined companies across the country in recognizing Work Zone Safety Week, reinforcing the importance of keeping our crews and the traveling public safe.

Throughout the week, we shared a series of posts highlighting key safety reminders, including slowing down in work zones, staying alert, and minimizing distractions behind the wheel.

These messages reflect the real conditions that our crews face every day on the job.

In Wisconsin, work zone safety remains a critical issue.

Each year, thousands of crashes occur in work zones across the state, many caused by speeding, inattentive driving, or following too closely.

These incidents put both drivers and road workers at risk, underscoring the need for increased awareness and responsibility whenever entering an active work area.

While Work Zone Safety Week provides a dedicated time to raise awareness, the importance of safety in and around our jobsites extends far beyond a single week. At Hoffman, SAFETY is a constant priority on every project, every day.

We appreciate the continued commitment of our crew members and encourage everyone to stay vigilant, look out for one another, and help ensure everyone goes home safely!
