Hoffman Construction was recognized for the Pleasant View Road Reconstruction Project, which was honored as the APWA Wisconsin Chapter Project of the Year in the Transportation ($25–$75M) category. Announced in April, this award celebrated the collaboration, planning, and hard work that went into transforming an important regional corridor in Middleton, Wisconsin.

On behalf of Hoffman Construction Kyle Pedersen accepts the APWA award at the Wisconsin Chapter Awards Banquet in Stevens Point. The 1.5-mile project reshaped Pleasant View Road from a rural two-lane roadway into a modern four-lane urban corridor designed to support growing traffic demands. Key improvements included new sidewalks, three roundabouts, and a pedestrian bridge, features that significantly enhanced safety and mobility for the surrounding community.

Hoffman Construction completed a substantial portion of the work, including over 195,000 cubic yards of excavation, 25,500 square feet of MSE retaining walls, and extensive grading and site preparation. Delivering a project of this scale required strong coordination, careful planning, and the dedication of a skilled crew. Led by Kyle Pedersen and Troy Prochaska, the team executed the project with precision and professionalism, earning well-deserved recognition from the APWA and from our project partners at the City of Madison and the City of Middleton. Kyle accepted the award at the APWA Wisconsin Chapter Awards Banquet in Stevens Point on May 1, representing the hard work and commitment of everyone involved.

This award remains one of the standout achievements of 2025 and a reflection of Hoffman Construction's commitment to building excellence across every project.
