PROJECT UPDATES:

Work is underway in Tomah at the Cranberry Interchange and continuing in Beaver Dam at the Data Center site. Here’s a quick look at the progress being made on both projects as the 2026 season moves forward.

Beaver Dam, Wisconsin

Work continues at the Beaver Dam Data Center site, one of Hoffman Construction’s largest active projects. Spanning more than 400 acres, the scope includes extensive earthwork, underground utilities, and site development to support the new facility.

Crews have moved significant material onsite, installed thousands of feet of storm sewer and underdrain, and placed large quantities of base and stone. The project continues to make steady progress in 2026, with remaining work scheduled to carry into early 2027.

Tomah, Wisconsin

Construction began February 2 at the Cranberry Interchange east of Tomah. The project includes reconstructing the interchange, replacing eastbound I-94 bridges over I-90 and associated ramps, and improving safety and traffic flow along this key corridor.

Despite winter conditions, crews have made strong early progress while maintaining traffic through careful staging and coordination. Work will continue through the 2026 construction season as the team advances this important interstate improvement.

Service and Equipment Training:

Investing In Our People

The Value of Training at Hoffman

At Hoffman Construction, training is not a one-time event. It is an ongoing commitment. As we move through the winter months and into February, our teams continue building knowledge and sharpening skills through hands-on service training, equipment training, and specialized crusher training in Nashville, Tennessee.

This time of year provides an important opportunity to prepare for the season ahead. Crews focus on understanding the latest equipment updates, maintenance practices, and operational improvements that help maximize performance in the field. Service and equipment training ensure our teams are ready to troubleshoot, maintain, and operate machinery efficiently and safely once construction activity ramps up.

Crusher training in Nashville has also been a key part of this effort. With crushing operations playing an important role in many of our highway and site development projects, investing in technical knowledge helps ensure quality production, reduced downtime, and safe operation on every job.

Training is about more than machines. It reinforces safety standards, strengthens leadership, and builds confidence across our workforce. When our employees are equipped with the right knowledge and tools, projects run smoother, communication improves, and risks are reduced.

By continuing to invest in training, we are investing in the long-term success of our crews, our projects, and the communities we serve.
