A MESSAGE FROM CHRIS GOSS
HELLO HOFFMAN TEAM
We’ve been working this winter to get ready for our SAFE and productive 2025 construction season, and we’re gonna be ready!
There has been a lot going on. It has been great to see the efforts in training, bidding, repairs and service, project closeout, company financial audit, and pre-project planning along with some construction in Mankato. That’s quite a list; things are coming together.
Since the January update, we’ve had more bid successes, with the addition of projects near Ixonia, WI, New Berlin, WI, and Victoria, MN!
Many of the equipment categories are more than 70% ready to go for the season. We still have some training to do, with MSHA, competent person, GPS, and supervisor training coming up. We have many more bids to turn in. We’re looking forward to another good year in 2025.
LET’S GO GET ‘EM!

With these new projects on the horizon, it’s time for all of us to roll up our sleeves and continue delivering the high-quality work Hoffman Construction is known for. HCC for the Win...Again!

On January 31, retiree Larry Pennekamp and longtime HCC team members Richie Miles and Barry Murray proudly represented HCC at the Annual UW-Stout Construction Program Ice Fishing Tournament on Lake Menomin in Menomonie, WI—and they took home the top prize! The tournament awards the top three teams with the best five panfish by length, and they came just shy of 60″ to claim victory—pretty impressive! Those familiar with the talent of these three anglers probably weren’t surprised by the win. In fact, this isn’t their first time taking home the title—it’s likely their 4th win, though we’ve lost count by now! HCC has a long history of hiring talented graduates from the UW-Stout Construction Program, and we’re proud to continue supporting the program.
Larry, Richie, and Barry thank you for representing HCC, and congratulations on another great win!
HOFFMAN HOLIDAY PARTY
On Saturday, January 11th, generations of Hoffman family came together to celebrate the holiday season at our annual Christmas party. It was a fantastic time to connect with colleagues, old and new, and celebrate the accomplishments of the past year.
